Please note that the date and time shown at checkout and during the delivery online ordering process are system-generated and do not reflect the actual delivery schedule. Pickup and delivery orders take 1–4 days to prepare. Plan for 1–5 days for shipping/delivery. You may select any date and time; your order will be delivered according to the UPS tracking information you receive.
Terms and Conditions
Pickup:
Pickup is only available in the Madison-Huntsville, AL area. Items can be picked up at the Publix in the Clift Farms shopping center (Madison, Alabama), or at any event, festival, farmers market, or pop-up where Neighborhood Bite Bakery is a vendor. Items must be paid for before pickups take place.
Order Processing Time:
Pickup orders are typically processed within 2–3 business days, depending on the size of the order. After placing your order, I’ll contact you directly to confirm your pickup date, location, and time.
Custom or large batch orders may require additional time. We’ll discuss the turnaround when I reach out to confirm your order details.
Payment:
Full payment is required before any order is confirmed, ingredients are purchased, or baking begins. Once your order is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email.
Order Modifications:
Orders may be modified within 6 hours of purchase. After that point, ingredients may have already been purchased or preparation may be underway. To request a change, email us at neighborhoodbitebakery@gmail.com with your order number and requested updates.
Please note: If your modifications increase the cost of your order, you will need to pay the difference before the changes are finalized. If the balance is not paid, your order will remain as originally placed.
Cancellations:
Orders canceled within 6 hours of purchase (and before ingredients have been purchased) are eligible for a full refund. Orders cannot be canceled after this window, as they are already in production.
Shipping & Delivery:
We ship Monday through Thursday to help avoid weekend delays. All orders are shipped via UPS Ground with tracking included. Delivery typically takes 1–5 business days.
Please keep prep and shipping times in mind if you’re ordering for a specific event:
Small orders: 2–3 business days for prep + 1–5 days for delivery
Large orders: 2–4 business days for prep + 2–5 days for delivery
If there’s an issue with your order (damaged, incorrect item, etc.), contact us within 24 hours of delivery. Please include a photo so we can resolve it quickly. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate issues reported after the 24-hour window.
Allergy Disclaimer:
Our kitchen is not allergen-free. We use ingredients that may contain or come into contact with nuts, dairy, soy, wheat, and eggs.
Be sure to review the ingredient list for each item before purchasing, and again before consuming or serving to others. If you have a food allergy or sensitivity, please reach out before placing your order—we’ll do our best to see if we can safely accommodate your needs.
Return Policy
Returns
Due to health and safety regulations, we are unable to accept returns on any baked goods once they have been received or accepted. All sales and donations are final.
Refunds
Orders that have not yet been delivered and are canceled within 6 hours of being placed are eligible for a full refund. After this window, ingredients may have already been purchased and production may be underway, so a refund cannot be issued.
We do not offer refunds for orders lost or delayed in the mail. Please note that shipping always carries some risk, and once your order is in transit, it is out of our control. If tracking information shows that your package was “delivered,” we must go by that status—even if you report not receiving it. Double-check your shipping information before placing your order, as we ship to the exact address provided and are not responsible for incorrect or incomplete addresses.
Refunds are only considered in cases where there was an error on our part. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery so we can address the problem. All refund decisions—including whether a refund will be issued and the amount—are made at our sole discretion and will depend on the specific circumstances.
Custom Order Policy
We love bringing your unique ideas to life! All custom orders require a consultation to confirm the details of your request. This consultation can be done via email or phone and must take place either before placing the order or within 24 hours of the order being placed.
To help us understand your vision, it's strongly encouraged that you send photos or inspiration images of what you're looking for, when possible. Please note that inspiration pictures are used as a guide—not a blueprint. While we do our best to match the overall look and feel, we cannot exactly duplicate someone else’s work. Each item we create is handcrafted with our own style and creativity.
Additionally, icing colors may vary slightly from inspiration photos due to differences in lighting, food coloring brands, and base ingredients. We’ll always do our best to get as close as possible, but slight variations are normal and to be expected.
Timely communication is essential. If we are unable to complete a consultation within 24 hours of your order, it may delay both production and delivery timelines.
If we are unable to complete the consultation within 2 days (48 hours) of the order being placed, your order will be automatically canceled and refunded.
